Alright everyone it’s time to start the official costume contest!
This year I decided not to go with a specific theme so all parties and fandoms can enjoy.
Here are some guidelines though:
1. Nothing incredibly offensive. (Yes I know this is tumblr and we get offended at everything but you should know what I’m talking about here. If you send me a picture of you dressed up as Internet Explorer and wearing crocs, it will still be eligible.)
2. Nothing pornographic. This is, after all, a Disney blog and I would prefer to keep things clean. This isn’t to say that any type of “sexy” costume isn’t allowed, I’m just saying, if I can see parts of you that should be saved for the bedroom, you probably shouldn’t send it in to JDN.
Contest ends: November 1st.

Her: “You can’t like Tiana. You’re white”
Me: “Excuse me?”
Her: “You heard me. Go pick one of your other princesses to like. You have red hair, go like Ariel or whatever.”
Me: “Uh huh… So who’s your favorite princess again?”
Her: “Oh. Rapunzel. She’s just so cute!”
Me: (inside head) wtf.

EDIT: Okay guys. There is nothing wrong with liking Rapunzel. It’s focused on the fact (as one very great follower replied) that she said that I couldn’t like my favorite princess because of my skin color, but then turns around and says her favorite princess is a different skin color. It’s not about Rapunzel at all. That was just the girl I was talking to’s favorite princess.
